Year: 2026 · Medium: Ink stippling and acrylic on paper with digital intervention · Materials: Ink, acrylic paint, paper · Dimensions: 13 × 13 cm, circular format · Software: Adobe Illustrator. After the Fire shifts the series from direct exploitation to the destruction of habitat. The black band opens onto a damaged eucalyptus landscape of charred trunks, fallen branches, smoke, and surviving leaves. Rather than showing harm to the koala itself, the work locates the threat in the environment on which it depends, reflecting on how wildfire and habitat destruction can remove the conditions necessary for a species to survive.
