Inventory addresses the illegal trade in rhinoceros horn. Within the black band, detached horns are arranged on shelving and packed into a crate, shifting the rhinoceros from a living subject into a source of stored value. The white horns remain visually connected to the animal, while the red structures expose the human systems of extraction, storage, and trade that transform part of a living being into a commodity.
